Discover What’s Keeping You from Making Money Online?


You have a great product or service, a great sales page, a great website and you are marketing on many different social platforms but you’re still are not making much money and you are at your wits end and you want to know why. Well, let’s cut right to the chase, are you ready? Here it is, you are unconsciously incompetent that’s why. Don’t be alarmed to hear it or dismayed about it. The fact is 96% of people marketing on the internet are somewhere between unconsciously incompetent and consciously incompetent. This is the reason only 4% of internet marketers are making over $500 dollars a month consecutively.

Now let’s play a little game, I’ll explain a few terms and you examine yourself to see if you fit in any of the categories OK, are you ready?
1) Unconsciously incompetent – You have a great product or service, you have a great web page or affiliate page and you may even have a replicated website as a member of a great MLM company. You heard that marketing online can be very profitable and bring you lots of customers , clients or referrals but you know nothing about the fundamentals and strategy of internet marketing. You are simply put, “ignorance on fire”. You go from social network to social network telling any and all about your great product , service or MLM company that’s greater than everybody else’s. You know nothing or very little about search engine optimization, keyword optimization strategy, list building, video marketing, writing press releases, blogging for profit, creating capture pages, creating sales pages, keyword and sales conversion testing, creating your own web pages, creating your own products for sale, Private label rights and master resale rights products just to name a few things you need to know to be in the 4% of marketers making over just $500 a month. You didn’t even know that you needed to know these things to get seriously paid online thus you are unconsciously incompetent but don’t be discouraged, so was I and every internet marketer.

2) Consciously incompetent – You heard about all the skill sets mentioned above and you know that they are essential elements to internet marketing but you have not yet taken the time to learn them. It’s OK though because you have an excuse you are just way to busy. There is just not enough time in the day for you to learn anything new so you reach a ceiling that you just can’t seem to break through and not only does your business suffer but the people you referred to your business suffer to due to your lack of knowledge to pass on to them and they eventually fall off the income map because you won’t take time to learn what you know you should learn. Thus you are consciously incompetent. Don’t beat yourself up to much, you are in good company. I myself was once there being more busy that effective.

3) Consciously competent – You realized what you didn’t know and made a conscious effort to change that condition by becoming educated on the principals of successful internet marketing. You connected with the training, tools and resources to gain the required knowledge to dominate specific niche markets although you may not yet have mastered the techniques you have developed a working knowledge of them to be effective and the more you perform them the more effective you are becoming. You are making more and more money every single month and not just in one market. You are confident now because you know what you should know and learning and performing the profit building tasks and its becoming like clockwork smooth as butter and most of all fun not energy draining.

4) Unconsciously Competent – You are now able to perform the income producing tasks without even thinking about it, your task list and schedule are shortened and streamlined. You have more time to learn new things and more time and money to do the things that you really enjoy doing. Your learning curve has been greatly reduced based on your understanding of the concepts so what you mostly focus on is set up and rune tasks. Your hard drive is full of marketing help tools and related software that allows you to automate your processes. You are passing on your knowledge to your team of consciously competent players and making a fortune collectively.

So as you can see internet marketing is like learning to tie your shoe. When you were 2 years old you didn’t know that you had to tie your shoe so you walked around with your shoes untied tripping and falling all over the place. Then your mother told you that you need to learn to tie your shoes and that’s when you looked around and realized that some of the other kids shoes were tied and they were not tripping as much as you. So you began to learn to tie your shoes too but at first it was awkward and you had to really think about it to do it right but the more you did it the more proficient you became until you reached the point where you could do it in seconds without even thinking about it. When you were a teen the same thing happened when you were learning how to drive. Now you get in your car everyday and do what you need to do without even thinking about it.
Internet marketing isn’t hard it just takes a commitment to learning how to do it effectively and efficiently. To be a successful internet marketer what is needed by you more than anything else that anybody tells you is a commitment to learning how. All the rest is just blocks on the side walk that’s already paved and waiting for you to commit to walking on it.
