A few years ago, I was fighting autoimmune disease that kept me in and out of the hospitals for several months at a time. I am alive today, first of all because of faith. Going through this major illness hit me hard on all levels; personal, emotionally and financially. Through this crisis, I discovered my real friends were very few and learned heavily that insurance companies and creditors do not have much compassion for those in bleak times. Finally, the doctor told me that surgery is the only option for me. If I did not have the surgery, my body would just shut down. There were times when I questioned the Lord, and ask why this is happening to me? All my life, I have always tried to do what is right. Is this my punishment for something I did not fulfill? Have I disappointed Him?
I carried emotional burdens that were loaded with frustrations and pain. When I would wake up in the morning, I often did not recognize myself, because I had lost so much weight and my skin color had darken at least 2-3 shades. My eyes had receded so much as though I had not slept in weeks. One day a coworker stared at me and said bluntly, “You look ugly". I became silent and begin to isolate myself. I found myself staring at a stranger every time I walked by mirrors.
When I became unable to work, I stayed home. My available sick time was completely gone. This resulted from the numerous absentees that were evitable. Everything around me felt as the walls were caving. I just had enough money in savings for food and prescription costs. The rest, I just put it in God's hands. As time went by, things begin to gets a little easier. One day at a time, my faith was recaptured and it allowed me to see the hidden bravery and courage within me. The most important thing that was sparkling clear is to take care of myself financially. This became a MUST! There will always be disappointments, deaths, illnesses but being prepared will make a difference. I can’t be prepared for everything that fall my way, but being financially free will makes that drop allot easier.
At last, I remembered a company I tried four years ago but never took it seriously. I investigated the company’s benefits and their income stream. I could not sit still. I said to myself, “why didn’t I see these months ago?” As soon as I could, I made the financial sacrifice d and never look back. I am please to say, I now have my very own Personal assistant.

Also,myself I am 49 and lately have been eating healthy as much as possible.
I have not been drinking any soda type drinks,have not been eating any hamburger meat from
any source and have been eating vegatables as much as possible.
I am noticing for sure it's the food that is taking many of us out.
